Hello friends and patriots. I know it has been quite a while since the Facebook page has been updated and I wanted to take the opportunity on Veterans Day to share a bit about this past year since Glenn has been home in heaven.
First I want to thank all of you for your continued well wishes and prayers. For many years Glenn was the main focus of my life and our lives here in Alabama. The past year has been quite an adjustment to say the least. It was my honor and privilege to have been Glenn's wife, caregiver, champion and confidant for the past 20 years. He was my rock, my reason to rise many mornings and the man I have always said rescued me. He was my soldier. He was a living embodiment of the love and forgiveness of Christ Jesus and I will forever be thankful to God for him.
In the past year I have spent many days and nights learning to live without him here. I take the greatest comfort in knowing that he is home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his father God. I have also gotten much comfort in the kind words and prayers many of you have shared.
This past year I have honestly been so humbled at the way I have been asked to step in as Glenn's representative at events and gatherings. It is a role I take seriously, and it is my honor to do so. In the end of September this year I was asked to take part in the Rolling Thunder’s Annual National POW/MIA Recognition Day at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia and their The Ride Home event. As I am sure many of you know, the Rolling Thunder organization is a force in the POW/MIA community and our nation. The comradery of the planners, organizers, volunteers, Vets and their families is a beautiful thing to behold. For four days they treated all of us like royalty and took care of all our needs. One of Rolling Thunders missions is to honor the families of POW/MIA service members and they do a spectacular job. It was my absolute honor to represent my husband at the event and I thank everyone involved. The event is open to the public and I encourage anyone with a heart for POWs, MIAs and Veterans in general to consider attending. You won’t regret it.
I also want to take a moment to thank our president, Donald J Trump, for his signing of the law that will ensure that the POW/MIA flag will fly year-round at Federal sites. Thank you, Mr. President, for putting our veterans and active duty members at the forefront.
I thank you all for your continued interest in Glenn’s story and want to assure you that his website colonelfrazier.com is still operating and we still have his book available.
Today I say a passionate and heartfelt THANK YOU to all our veterans and their families. You all hold a very special place in my heart, and I look forward to seeing you at events to come.
“Never Forgotten… Their Sacrifice. Our Mission. Ever Onward”
God Bless you all
